Welcome to my blog for harvest 2006. I used to be a software engineer (specifically, a relational database engineer) working in the finance industry. I recently decided that I would rather work in the wine business, with the ultimate goal of operating my own winery. In July of 2006 I gave up my job and my home in Pasadena and moved to Santa Barbara county to work on a winery.
